About the Department
Development and Social Sciences
This department offers courses which expose students to developmental skills in economics, human and social processes in humanity and social sciences through critical thinking, human development, problem solving, interpersonal relations, communication, acquisition and management of resources and implementation of policies and practices of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) and the society at large. Courses in the department aim at exploring how humans’ interactions are influenced by individual collective and structural forces such as mental health (cognitive development), social relationships/politics and social transformation (positive changes and development). These courses aim at complimenting theological and pastoral formation courses offered in the seminary.
